What We Believe

Reformed Truther Ministries is a teaching ministry designed to help people learn the theological and historical truths of our world from an unashamedly Christian perspective. Our ministry teaches Strict and Particular Baptist theology as found in the historic Baptist confessions of faith such as the 1644 First London Baptist Confession, the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession, the 1729 Goat Yard Confession, and the 1878 Gospel Standard Articles of Faith. Although we prize all of these doctrinal statements, we have found that the Gospel Standard Articles best summarize our beliefs. We also teach historical truth by showing the true history of the world that is being covered up today.

Reformed Truther Ministries believes in the inspiration (2 Tim. 3:16), inerrancy (2 Pet. 1:20-21), sufficiency (Psa. 19:7-10), and preservation (Psa. 12:6-7) of the Scriptures. We believe that God has preserved the Scriptures in the original languages of Hebrew and Greek as found in the Hebrew Masoretic text and the Greek Textus Receptus. We believe that the King James Version is the most faithful English translation based on the true text of Scripture. We believe in the biblical doctrine of the Trinity which teaches one God in three persons (1 Jn. 5:7). We believe that the three persons of the Trinity equally share the one essence of God (Jn. 14:10-11). We believe in a literal seven day creation week (Exo. 20:11) and a young earth in keeping with the literal history of the book of Genesis. We believe that the Scriptures teach a geocentric flat earth model (Isa. 40:22) of the creation.

We believe in the doctrine of predestination (Pro. 16:33) and that all things that come to pass are ordained by God in his sovereignty (Isa. 46:10-11) We believe in the doctrines of grace. We believe that God unconditionally chose an elect people (Eph. 1:4, Rom. 9:11) to save before the foundation of the world. We believe in the doctrine of total depravity which teaches that man is completely dead in his trespasses and sins (Eph. 2:1), that man has a heart completely inclined towards evil (Gen. 6:8) and is unable to spiritually come to God by his own power (1 Cor. 2:14) We believe that God effectually calls the Elect (Jn. 6:44) to be saved by his grace. We believe in Justification by the imputed righteousness of Christ completely apart from works (Rom. 3:24, Rom. 5:9). We believe that the Gospel is our rule of life (Rom. 6:14, Rom. 8:2). We believe that the gospel is a higher rule than the law. We believe that the Gospel being our rule of life does not free us from keeping the commandments of God. (Rom. 3:31).

We believe that God's worship should be conducted according to the Regulative Principle of Worship (Deut. 4:2, Deut. 12:32) We believe that the Regulative Principle calls for the singing of reverent Psalms (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16) without added instrumentation (Jn. 4:21-24). We reject the worldly music of the Contemporary Christian Music Movement and the Christian Rap Movement as legitimate ways to worship the Lord. We believe that the first day of the week is the Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) and is the Christian day of worship. We believe that the Lord's Day is the Christian Sabbath (Exo. 20:10, Heb. 4:9) and that Christians are to cease from work and recreation (Isa. 58:13-14) in order to focus on public and private worship of the Lord. We believe in the independence of the local Church. We believe in believer's baptism by full immersion (Acts 2:38).

We believe that Historicist Postmillennialism is the correct teaching on Eschatology. We believe that the Pope of Rome is the Antichrist (2 Thess. 2:3-4) of Scripture. We believe that the Jews will be saved in the future (Rom. 11:26) and brought into the Christian Church. We reject the errors of Dispensationalism which teaches that the Jews and the Church are two separate peoples (Gal. 6:16, Eph. 2:12-14) with different divine plans. We reject the teaching of a pretribulation rapture (Jn 5:27-28, 1 Cor. 15:52, 1 Thess. 4:15-17) We believe that the coming Millennium (Rev. 20:1-3) will be a time of gospel advancement and blessing for the Church (Psa. 72:8-11, Isa. 60:5) and comes before the return of Christ. We believe that Satan controls much of the dealings of the world (Jn. 14:30, 2 Cor. 4:4) and that there is spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12) This means practically that there are individuals in the world who serve evil in the secret societies and occult groups (Psa. 2:1-3, Pro. 4:14-16) all over the world.

We believe these groups such as the Jesuits, Illuminati, Freemasons, Skull and Bones, and O.T.O are real, and exercise considerable influence on the religious, political, economic, and social developments in our world. We believe that the Vatican and the Roman Catholic system (Rev. 17:1-5, Rev. 18:2) is at the center of the secret societies and the occult world. We believe there is a conspiracy to bring about a New World Order which is being perpetuated by the Vatican and the Secret Societies. We believe the Scriptures prophesy the destruction of the Antichrist system (Rev. 18:8) just prior to the beginning of the Millennium. This means practically that the New World Order conspiracy will be thwarted and defeated. We believe that Christians should not have an unhealthy interest in evil but are regardless called to reprove the works of darkness (Eph 5:11).
